so i got the job! yahoo...offered to me within the first 5min of the interview...so either they are really hurting for people or i must have wow'ed them! ha ha! anyways, i am so excited to start - i start next monday at 5pm...i mostly will be working from 5-9 M-F and some weekend shifts. here are the perks - full benefits if i average 20 hours a week, a free lb of coffee EVERY week...guess i will be giving some of that away, cause who can drink a lb a week? let's see...30% off all merchandise, a free coffee either half hour before shift or 1/2 hour after shift, free food and coffee while you work, accrued vacation time...and here is the best part - during my interview the manager said that she thinks i would be a great fit for corporate starbucks and asked if was interested...i said of course down the road, i then told her that i have been exploring the idea of going into management (at starbucks)...she said that i can fast-track it and it could happen in a year..so we will see...i am just so excited!
joe has an interview today with his ex-boss...this is for a consulting position..his ex-boss started his own company and contacted joe a couple of weeks ago asking if joe would be interested in working for him...at first we weren't that hyped cause the benefits would not even compare to what he has now...but now with my new starbuck job and the awesome benefits it provides...maybe this can be an option...we will see....
both kids are taking a little morning nap...jade woke up early this morning and has been quite fussy...so i put her down for one...the weather is crappy today..ugh...oh well..not like i have anything planned!!!

Hooray! Sounds like a great job and an awesome company to work for...as for drinking 1 lb of coffee a week...I think Shawn and I go through about that in a week! HEHE! Congrats on the job, I know you will love it...
Congrats Erin! It will be fun and a great opportunity it sounds like. I know you adore your beautiful children but it will be nice to get out of the house and quality time for Joseph with the kids.
