recap

wow...it's the middle of the week already! this past weekend we headed to pullman to spend some time with joe's mom (sally) and the harper's...we had such a great time. since all the hotels were filled in pullman due to school starting, we stayed in good ol' lewiston...the drive back and forth to lewiston to pullman is about 30 min and it's quite pretty - wheat fields and two little towns to pass through. anyways, we left woodinville thurs afternoon and after a long drive pulled into the super 8 around 10pm. we stopped in ellensburg for a little dinner and that's when our trip got a bit well...stressed, might be the word - to make a long story short...we dealt with a major blowout from cole...and well...it got everywhere..including on daddy's hands, the seat he was sitting in...i had run into the gas station to get some milk for jade and had left joe with the job of putting cole's clean outfit on...well it was super windy and he had put the poopy outfit on the hood of the car, well it flew off and was on it's way down the parking lot...so joe chased it down and in the mean time got poop all over his hands...oops...well a half hour later we were on the road again....friday morning we met up with sally and hailey (niece) and went to a little park nearby...then we headed to sella's - yummy little italian pizza joint...we had such a great time there with sally and hailey! the rest of the afternoon we laid low and then in the evening went to the lentil fest with the harper's and sally...we ran into some friends and joe's old wrestling coach, so that was fun to catch up and show off cole and jade....the bee's were out in full force, i am not kidding...so we had to leave early - they were flying into jade's mouth when i was trying to feed her...ugh - i hate bee's!! saturday we started it out at the best breakfast joint around - old eurpeon...so good! we picked up sally and had some great food...the rest of the afternoon was spent at the harper's - enjoying the pool...jade absolutely loved it...i was so proud of her not being scared, she was a bit at first and then about 5 min later she loved it...cried a bit when it was time to get out - cause her lips were turning blue!! saturday night we ended at another great restaurant in pullman and then we went for a drive around pullman...we dropped off sally and headed back to lewiston...it was so great to see sally once again...we will miss her...we have been able to see a lot of her in the past few months...sunday we stopped off at moses lake to see my family- my aunt,uncle, cousins, gma, gpa and parents...we had lunch and had a little down time before the rest of the drive....and that's that for our weekend. monday - first day at starbucks - yahoo - can i just say how much i love starbucks! i had such a great time- i got to taste test coffee and learn how to tell the different tastes...oh it was so much fun...i am going to love my new job!! i can't believe how much coffee i drank in those first two hours - wow!! i got my first free lb of coffee - i go in for another training day at corp on sat...so excited!
oh on a side-note...after my shift i called joe to see how his first day with the kids went- i had planned on going grocery shopping afterwards, but wanted to see how things were going first - anyways, when i called joe was huffing and puffing and the kids loud - apparently while joe was feeding jade, cole got a little restless, so joe picked him up and was trying to settle him down...well in the meantime jade who is in her highchair was stuffing her food down her onsie and painting face with ketchup....ha ha!! we have some great pics of her! so joe decided the quickest way to clean her up was to give her a bath..so upstairs they all went....well during jade's bath cole decided to have a little poopy blow out...ha!! this makes me kinda laugh...cause now he knows what i deal with - the multi-tasking part - anyways, all was cleaned up when i arrived - i didn't go grocery shopping after hearing about his night....hmm...wonder how he will do on sat- this time it's a 4 1/2 hour shift... :) he'll do great!!
well my appetizing lean cuisine is buzzing in the micro so gotta go eat in peace while both kids are napping!!
