new things

i can't believe how fast jade learns new things...just a minute ago she told joe to "sshhh" and then put her finger to her mouth...and shushed him again. he was holding sleeping cole....i tell her throughout the day to sshhh when cole is sleeping...so she must have decided that daddy was being too loud! the other new thing is that she realizes when she goes pee-pee....she looks at me and grabs her diaper and says some kinda gibberish...so then we rush to the bathroom, but by then she has already gone...and the last new thing for the day is that when i got home from the gym i told her it was bath time...so she started to undress herself...so cute! i can't believe how quickly they pick things up...it's like it all comes together in their little minds and bam they are understanding what you say...
i think jade is going through gma and gpa withdrawls...today was a bit hard - she only cried once in moses lake...she cried about 5 times today....always at that most oppurtune times - when i am feeding cole, changing cole or fixing dinner....speaking of dinner it was horrible!! i baked some chicken which i marinated in italian dressing...not very good, then i cooked some rice a roni - well burnt that...so it was crunchy...then i steamed an artichoke - well it was tough...ahhh...i had some toasted french bread too that i burnt...just wasn't my day....ha!
