i just can't believe jade is at the age to start preschool! wow! we just got back from an observation at the bellevue christian school. she loved it! she fit in so nicely..didn't want to leave. after speaking with the program director and researching a few others, i decided to go with this one. so we signed up! she starts in september, which is hard for her to understand. she wants to start now...it was so cute this morning, she got all dressed, wanted me to pack her backpack with a snack. she told me she was ready to get on the bus to go to school! i have no idea where she picks all this stuff up! ha! anyways, i am very excited about this and for it to be christian based.
as for little cole...we had a tough few days...thursday i took him back to the doc cause his cough was so bad. well he ended up having croup! ahhh and a moderate ear infection. so they gave him a steroid at the office and he is on antibiotics again...today was the last day! i can't believe how sick he has been this past month. i really think it's because of the little daycare center at the Y....his first exposure to lots of kids. but i have to say he is doing so much better! one of the reasons i know why, is because he through a whopping fit right before we left for the preschool observation...all because he didn't want to wear a coat - stubborn little fella!
now onto joe....he went to the knee doc last thurs cause his knee was really hurting...he had an MRI and the news isn't too good. long story, really short...he has to have surgery. ahhh...and sooner then later....ahhh...the recovery time is 2 months! oh my!
we are on the countdown to our vacation...i can't wait!

Yeah for finding a good preschool! It is not easy I tell you! The girls share in Jade's excitment about starting preschool next year....and then Lila will be going the year after that (she gets to go for 2 years)! They grow up fast! So excited for your Vacation!!! I remember when Shawn had knee surgery...It wasn't too bad...I did require a bit of help as I was working then.....Hope Cole is on the mend! Miss you guys!
Glad you found a preschool you like! That's so exciting! Sorry to hear about Cole :( It's no fun when they get so sick! Also sorry to hear about Joe's surgery, what does he have to have done? Erich is having ankle surgery on Friday morning, non-weight bearing for 2 weeks! Yeah, he won't be much help :) Have fun on vacation!
I can't believe she is old enough for preschool already. It's crazy how the time flies. I'm glad you were able to find a good one.
