My Grandpa, Arthur Larsen

this past week has been very hard. on tuesday, i called my grandma - i usually talk to her once or twice a week. she told me my grandpa wasn't doing well at all. my sister, kids and i drove over early wednesday morning to be with him. he passed away friday morning. my dad and i were by his side a minute after he passed. it was so hard. we missed being with him by 1 minute. all the family drove up and to be with eachother and my grandma. my grandma is in a daze, it was a shock to her, how fast it happened. i can't believe he is gone. 2 of the most important men in my life are gone...both grandpa's...
i just got home and am recovering from an awful flu...it's been such an awful week. the memorial is friday, my sister, dad and i wrote the eulogy and i will be reading his life story. i hope we make it special for him. he had the most will power to live in any man i have ever known. he only deserves the best send off.
