holy moly snow!

looking out our window, we probably have about 8 inches of snow!! what?? crazy stuff going on here. i hope it stops. it's pretty and all, but things just stop here...the plows are slow to get to the side roads, so if you don't have 4 wheel drive, you are pretty much stuck. take it from me, cause i was an idiot and decided to drive into work at 430am yesterday to open up the store...got stuck once, thankfully got out of it. anyways, arrived at the store and the gal that was supposed to open with me got stuck too...so there i was sitting in the parking lot for one hour waiting for someone to make it in!! what was i thinking? ahhhh....we ended up closing our store and then all heading to another starbucks down the road...and we were busy! i left at 1130am, and again on my way home got stuck on the back roads...horrible! i won't be going out again until these plows come. i just hope it is gone by xmas, because we have plans and i don't want them ruined!!!!
yesterday, jade and i made spritz cookies with my new cookie press, they are so yummy. jade kept saying over and over....i love making cookies, it's my favorite thing mama....she was such a good little helper and so patient! i will be making more fudge and maybe will attempt another cookie recipe, we will see.
well hope everyone is having a snowy day...i think everyone is getting hit with it, well with the exception of the harper and hendrie family in sunny san antonio!

**oh aunt judy...if you are reading this, show gma my blog, not sure if she has seen it....

How I would love to have 8 inches of snow instead of 30! Have a Merry Christmas-at least it will be a white one-

I forget that in places like Seattle where they are not used to so much snow it's not the blissful scene it usually is here :) Hope you guys got to get out and a enjoy it a little and that it didn't affect your Christmas plans! Hope you had a great Christmas and looking forward to seeing some pictures soon :)
