finally a post and pics

these pics range from beginning of nov. to now. i have been so bad at posting and uploading pics. last week was pretty busy. we had my gpa's memorial on friday, which was very nice. to spruce up everyone's mood, joe and i got our tree. we got a noble fir and it is the most perfect tree i have ever had. fits perfectly in our living room. stands just at 6ft tall. jade had so much fun putting the ornaments on. she is so excited for xmas this year. i love it. cole, isn't too interested in the tree, which is fine, because i was a bit worried it was going to be a huge attraction for him. saturday we got the kids ready to go see santa. we go to bellsquare every year...they have the neatest little set-up, with santa's workshop, reindeer, everything. after standing in line for an hour, we were finally up next to go. jade looked at santa, looked at me and said...it's time to go home mama...so no go on the santa....which is fine, i won't ever force my kids to do anything they don't want to. cole for some reason decided to throw a whopper of a fit all the way to the car. screaming and kicking...not crying, just screaming the whole way. it was very embarssing, especially when everyone just stares at you...ahhh....so much for finishing up my xmas shopping. saturday afternoon, joe and i went to my friend audra's b-day party in monroe. andra babysat the kids. it was great fun. it snowed already about 3inches up there, she lives on the top of a huge hill....we left about 530 to beat out the storm, luckily cause when i woke up the next morning at 430am, to go to work, we had 3inches and a sleet of ice. it was quite slippery going to work. but i made it with no major slips.

this week (and weekend), i need to finish all my xmas preparations. i mailed off some gifts, got that done. need to do a bit more shopping...make some cookies, fudge...i love this time of year!
