updates...

well there aren't really...on the house front...nada...a man looked at it for the second time on saturday, but no word yet. so i am assuming he has decided on something else. saturday while they were showing our place, we drove up to historic everett...there are two streets primarily in downtown everett that are picture perfect homes on a tree-lined street overlooking the sound...they were all built in the early 1920's and have been restored...they are absolutely beautiful...i have decided that is my dream home. we went into one that was having an open house, it was so cute, but needed a bit more work...i have found another one, but it's a bit over our price range, but it won an award for restoration etc...so pretty...i like these homes because they have so much character around them...true wainscotting, fir wood floors, fancy wood trim doorways...all orginal woodwork...ahhh...sigh. i much rather prefer this type of home then the cookie cutter new homes, that we will probably move into...but again, that is fine too...just a home with a yard is our main priority.
i am currently starting my supervisor training for starbucks...we will see where this leads. i have thrown around the idea of going up the chain...asst manager, manager, DM...we will see. it is a great job for a mom...i don't plan on going back to a "real" job until the kids are at least in school...
i have been trying to keep cole and jade busy with outings...our neighbor is also a stay at home mom of a 2yr old boy. we all went to the park the other day...saw farm animals and played in huge trees. jade loved climbing...and especially likes her new friend, evan. cole is still getting into EVERYTHING...i have never experienced this ...jade did it a bit, but cole...oh my gosh. i can't even leave the room for one second...he's climbing on the couch and going over head first over the back. he's climbing up on his play kitchen to try and sit on the top...he's throwing his toys off the deck...let's see...oh boy...and taking him to the park, well...he has no fear...climbing up the slide....the wrong way...wanting to be a big boy and go on all the big kid toys...oh gosh...he's boy...a gecas boy! he's talking up a storm and loves to say "i want" ...i want a ba-ba (bottle), i want wa(watch) seseme street, i want cracccccccccker, i want my b (binkie), i want ma ma, i want da da...this goes on and on until he gets what he wants...oh gosh! and jade my little helper just rushes over and tries to help...so cute.
this sunday we are having professional family pics taking at alki...i can't wait...we are going to do it in the evening...jade and cole will also have their pics taken seperately..let's hope all goes well.
well it's 11pm, and i wasn't able to sleep before, so maybe i will try again...at least our neighbor isn't talking anymore right in front of our window...ahhh..won't miss the closeness in proximity of our neighbors that is for sure!
