catch up time

joe and his dad went on a week long camping trip to the St. Joe...they had a lot of fun. they fished, hiked, explored and had a lot of "guy" time. here are some pics of their adventure. while they were having their fun we were in ML with my parents. we spent a lot of time outside, at my grandparents...i got to hang out with an old friend. although, it was a great time and i got some extra help i am glad to be home. jade cried and cried when we left and keeps telling me she wants to go back to "nana and papa's"....i think cole is happy to be back here and in his crib. he had horrible sleeping habits in ML. this past weekend was joe's b-day weekend. i think he had a great time. it started out with a big breakfast and then it was time for presents. i had a personalized comic book made for him...my sister's co-worker is an artist and loves to do this kind of thing. let's just say i have never seen anything like this...so awesome. joe, of course, is the hero, and he is saving seattle from killer bees...anyways, jade, cole and i have cameo's in it. i ended up getting joe a shopping spree, so after breakfast we headed to bellsquare for some shopping. joe also got his haircut and a shave from a fancy shmancy place...it was more like a facial...he loved it! we had lunch at the cheesecake factory and the kids were just angels the WHOLE time! it was a great day. that night we met up with some friends and went to dinner at joey's on lake union. the food and company was awesome but the service was horrible! we had to wait an hour and a half to even be seated. then we waited another 30 min to be served drinks...the problems go on and on. i ended up speaking to the manager and they comp'ed quite a bit...but regardless of all that we had such a good time. andra was home with the kids - thanks andra. sunday we pretty much laid low...our house was shown 2 times, one guy wanted it for 285k - i told him no way...one of our townhomes just sold for 304...so that is way too low. so hopefully, this next weekend will bring a more sensible buyer!
well back to the grind....part of me is looking forward to the routine, the other...not so much...it's a sunny day here and jade and cole slept in till 7am...so far so good!
