one night i came back to my parents from my grandparents and my mom and jade were playing tea party...jade saw me and said "momma, i love barack obama"...i said "what?" she then proceeded to say it again..i asked my mom where she got that...apparently my mom had been watching the news and there was some story about him...anyways, yesterday i was watching the news and barack obama comes on again...jade was playing near me and i asked her "jade who is running for president?"...she then replied "barack obama and i love him"...ha ha! it's not like joe and i are huge supporters of him...so it cracks us up when she says that... she especially has the confused look coming from my dad, who is a supporter of mccain...anyways, thought i would share my obama story.
one more thing...jade is really into "friends"...she calls cole and i her best friends forever...again, no idea where she got that lingo...but it makes me smile so much. i hope she still thinks that when she is older. she just amazes me everyday with all her learning.
