wow...yesterday was not fun! jade had fell asleep in my car while doing errands, so i just put her down for an early nap. i heard her stirring about an hour later and thought "well she might go back to sleep so i will just wait for a minute to go out there"....well there was about 5 min of quiet and then all of a sudden a huge thud - my heart literally skipped a beat...i ran upstairs and found her on the floor!!! she had climbed out of her crib and fallen...she was crying and shaking! it was such a blur, all i can remember is picking her up and holding her...so i immediately called joe...no answer...so i called my dad...then i called the doc...anyways, we were on concussion patrol all day/night. my doc called again at 7pm to check up on jade...i just love my doc. we probably talked for a good 15 min...she is just the neatest doctor ever! she told me to not put jade back into the crib, cause at her age she doesn't have the reasoning skills to not do it again...so we moved to a toddler's bed last night...oh and that was stressful...cause little jade can figure out how to open doors...well she is right by the stairs...so i barely got any sleep...she did very well though. so i had asked the doc if this happens very often...my doc replied - well at the 2-3 age level...she told me to look on the positive side..that jade is a very determined and strong little girl...that doesn't help me though! :) i guess another positive note is that i don't have to buy cole a crib...saved some $$ there....
well better go, my little guy is starting to fuss....lots to do today - we leave for bend, OR tomorrow to meet up with the hawkin's family...

Sorry to hear about Jade. Glad she is ok. Have fun in Bend! Nothing like a little vacation!
That's scary huh? But it is amazing how resilient the little buggers are :) Glad she's doing better and hope you get some more sleep tonight. Have fun in Oregon, I love Bend!
