it's been awhile...

i haven't posted for awhile...so i will try and recap any great stories or adventures we had..hmmm...well last week our excursion for the week was a trip to great-gma's in tacoma...the morning started out not so great...jade woke up at 6am and not in a very good mood...after some crying fits, we all got in the car and headed to t-town. got to gma's around 11am and decided that we all would go on a picnic at a neighborhood park...a park that i guess my mom and her siblings used to play at (titlow)...we grabbed some take-out and had a little picnic...jade had so much fun of course...from there we headed back to gma's and my aunt and her kids came over...they are 4 and 6...jade was hooked on katie (6year old)...she followed her everywhere and mimicked everything katie did..so cute. katie got a big kick out of it too...emily (4year old) just wanted to hold cole...she loves babies...it was a nice visit...we got home around 8 or so...then the past weekend we went to andra's apt in belltown, she had a moving out party on the roof - what a great view of the sound..she sure is going to miss that apt - it is soo nice. jade of course just wanted to be with andra the whole time...sunday we didn't do much...went to a few stores, i did housework - ugh...that's about it for the weekend...last night we all went to the burke gillman park, it was such a beautiful night here..perfect weather. jade played at the park for about an hour...she met a friend...a little 2-3 year old boy...it was the first little kid that has wanted to play with jade at the park..most run away from her! ha! anyways, the played tag and threw a little ball back and forth. it's so much fun watching her play. she is such a little sweetheart...she shares and always goes up and says hi...she even hugs the little kids...which i think that scares them off...

this week we don't have much planned...today we went to the park again...had to cause it is so nice outside...we went for a little walk after lunch...and now both are sleeping...finally! jade didn't want to go down for a nap and we had a little crying fest....they both are quiet now...i think i will go read my book that i have been trying to finish since before cole was born....
