this weather has got to go....i am done with humid, 90 degree weather in seattle! that is mainly because 1) we don't have air conditioning and 2) can't do much with little kids in this heat....friday reached record temps, so when joe got home we jumped in the air conditioned car and went and looked at new developments...we saw 4 and ruled them all out. all these new houses do not have yards....what? why is that? saturday i had the day off. we headed to the woodinville farmers market in the morning, and i must say it was crappy...i think i am used to the wonderful farmers markets in eastern, wa....but we bought some yummy fruit and stinky flowers (i say stinky, cause kid you not they smelled like a dirty diaper...great!). we had an open house from 2-5 and only one couple showed up...and they weren't even looking...they were looky-loo's from our complex...what? who does that? our realtor said they wanted to check out our fridge cause they needed a new one...huh?! while our realtor was having no luck, we headed to chuckanut drive...a beautiful drive along the sound up to bellingham...it was breathtaking...views like no other...we stopped in fairhaven, the historic district in bellingham, and had dinner and ice cream...along with checking out the neat sights.....joe and i would love to go back just the two of us, tons of restaurants and neat little bars...so much to do...
today i opened the store...i love working the early mornings, i must sound crazy, but i love waking up early when no one else is up and heading to work to fix coffee for all you coffee lovers....i got home around 113o and off we went to st edwards, our token park. jade and cole got lots of excercise, but when jade came to me and said "mama, we gotta go home cause i gotta go poo-poo" we packed up and left. jade is doing such an amazing job with toilet training! i can't believe how easy it has been..thank goodness. she is waking up with dry pull-ups from nighttime and nap time...wow!!! because of all her success, she has been getting lots of treats...joe bought her a complete princess outfit - the whole shabang...dress, shoes, crown, wand, earrings, rings, necklace...she is the cutest all dolled up.
this week is pretty low key...it's supposed to cool off...we don't have much planned, but i am sure something will come up. jade starts pre-pre school in september...i am excited for that! she will love it....

Sounds like a good weekend. I love going to the farmer's market.
That's terrific Jade is doing so well with potty training. It's the best feeling when you don't have to buy diapers anymore and you don't have to worry about underwear accidents. Ahh...
Sounds like a great weekend, I hear you about the heat, not sure what we would do without A/C...I too love getting up early...nice to get out of the house while all is quiet and still! Hooray for Jade, that is so great that she is doing so well, and she starts preschool soon, fun fun!...Hope you have a great week!
