Happy b-day to the greatest mom out there! We are so lucky to have a mom and a nana as great as mine. She consistantly is here for us whenever we need help or a weekend babysitter for a last minute date night. we talk everyday and she is there when i have a question or need advice on the babies. here are a few examples of what she has done...
When both jade and cole were born she stayed the first few days/weeks with us. i remember when jade was first born she slept in our room (she let joe sleep downstairs so he could get some rest) and woke up with me every 2 hours to feed her. she made all the dinners, did all the wash, cleaned the whole house and let me sleep whenever possible. she has driven over the pass many times during winter snow storms to come help joe and i out when i was pregnant with cole. both joe and i have said we wouldn't have known what we would have done without all her great help! she continues to help out a ton...still when i go over to ML or they come here, both joe and i get to sleep in, go out on a date. she takes us shopping and outfits the kids...so great!
Now on a nana note...jade and cole absolutely adore her. they talk everday, well try too...and both get extremely excited to see their nana and papa! jade knows now that nana brings her "treats"....everytime she comes! even when she gets dressed in the morning she asks me if nana got her the shirt or whatever i am dressing her in!! ha!
i could go on forever on what a great mom she is...i am so lucky! happy birthday mom! love, erin, joe, jade and cole!
