Easter overload!

we have had a busy few days! all packed with easter fun! saturday started out with an early morning easter egg hunt with the scheaffer's. kids had a lot of fun. cole was a bit nervous with the huge crowd, but he was such a good little boy. stayed glued to joe! which i was relieved, i had visions of him running away in search of eggs and then getting lost in the crowd! jade and evan each found one big egg and lots of candy! oh great! then we headed to nearby cafe to warm up with some coffee and hot chocolate for kids...again all 3 kids were perfect! yah!! easter sunday we woke up at the crack of dawn and the kids got their baskets...jade got her first barbie...cole was all about the animal crackers! HA! soon after, we walked 5 feet over to the scheaffer's and had easter breakfast and an easter egg hunt. the kids had a lot of fun. after that it was off to tacoma to visit gma in hospital and then go to kim's for dinner. gma had ankle surgery and was recovering. she wasn't doing as well as i thought she would be doing, but i think it must have been the pain medication. sure don't like seeing her like that! kim and john just built a beautiful home...i took some interior pics for my aunt in maryland to see...sorry i forgot to take a pic of the outside oops...we had more easter baskets, egg hunts and food overload!!! it was fun for the kids very tiring for adults - well at least me! we left around 7pm and right when we were merging on the freeway i ran over a huge screw - immediately flat tire! GREAT! and it was raining! oh gosh! what to do! so joe changed the tire to a donut and we drove home going 45miles/hr...ugh! so many cars got mad at me...ugh! so now i have to deal with that today! ugh again! ha! we are very tired today from all the weekend fun. didn't work out this morning, maybe later this afternoon, who knows!
