last thursday jade and joe went on a date. jade went to her first movie! first they went out for cold stone ice cream and then headed to the theatre. jade had a blast. here is a pic before the big outing. how cute! what a big girl she is becoming!
saturday we had such a nice day here, no rain, sun out. we headed to discovery park, one of our favorites. we used to live in the magnolia neighborhood and it brings back so many memories. our friend mark met us for some kid-soccer and walking on trails. the kids had so much fun running and being free!
one big feat for monique and i is that we registered for the rock n' roll marathon! whew...now i am really doing it! we have been training for 5 weeks. only up to 4.6 miles, need to go to 13. we are going to try and run the whole thing...we will see. next week we are going to start running the burke gilman trail....ahhhh....it sure is hard. i am looking forward to it though - the completion of it! ha!
nothing else new...just hanging out with our friends, monique and evan...this weekend we head to moses lake. the kids are really looking forward to it! we bought bike helmets so they are all ready to ride their bikes! jade asks me everyday if this is the day we go to papa and nana's house! so cute! she keeps telling me she wants a house just like papa and nana's...i am wondering if she means she wants to live in moses lake..ha!
45 mins till we run our goal of 6 miles, i am nervous even thinking about it...ahhh

this is adorable. joe looks like he's getting younger! it's the nice tan and spikey hair. wish i was going to mom and dad's with you guys! and that's great about running 6 miles! WOW i need to have you train me next!
