let's see...what's new? hmm...still battling colds, oh...got my hair cut...a new do that's for sure! it's short, sassy and blonde! i love it...the shortest i have ever had it...probably the most blonde too. since i have no curl in it anymore i decided to go short and a bit more chic looking. anyways, i think it looks good...all my regulars at starbucks seem to love it and even customers that i have never seen have commented, so that is a good sign. wish i had a pic to post, but i am too lazy to take one and upload...maybe another day.
the kids are well...we have been going to the YMCA on a regular basis...i am starting to work out. built up to running 35 mins...so that is good. now, i just need to stop eating all the sweets at starbucks! ahhh....oh well, one thing at a time. jade woke up this morning with another cold...when will it end??? cole got a hair cut too...a nice military cut...real short on the sides and back, with a tiny bit of length on top. he looks so cute!
we did our taxes last night, i was a bit bummed on what we are getting back, i thought we would get what we got last year, but nope, much less...oh well.
my friend lorrie came over last week for lunch, which was so nice. love catching up with her...we email regulary, but it's so nice to see friends in person! i am still trying to figure out a date for my friend erin and i to meet up...and my new friend monique and i go back and forth in emails to set up a family date....she's my next door neighbor, so you would think that wouldn't be hard, but it seems to be with both of our schedules.
today we aren't doing much...i work later this evening...which i am looking forward to. i always like going to starbucks. so much going on with the company. closing 300 stores in the next 8 months...california, texas and florida will be hit. we are now operating on half of a staff...so there never is a dull moment, always a line. which i think the customers get frustrated. i think our customers are so used to be waited on immediately, so now that things have changed a bit, they aren't liking it...anyways, off i go to do puzzles with the kids!

Sorry to hear Jade is sick...Kiara finally caugh MJ/Lila's colds...Yeah for a new hairstyle can not wait to see pics. I am making my appt to CHOP off mine and dye it my root color (Hide the grey)! So awesome you guys joined the Y and even better on running 35 min! I always feel so much better after my morning workout! I have been keeping up with your friend Lorrie over FaceBook....She is so funny! Hope you get to meet up with all your friends soon! Miss you....
