craziness

we have been busy! whoa..let's start with saturday....the chandler's came up for a visit! what fun that was! jade had SO much fun with Holden...her friend, as she calls him now..."mom...when is my friend holden going to come back and play?" so cute! the chandler family arrived for dinner and hang out time...the boys (as in chris and joe) played xbox and us girls and kids hung out and chatted (and played)....miranda also brought us a big box of clothes for cole...how nice is that? wow...you should see all that she gave us...i can't express enough thanks! we sure wish we lived closer to them! they are trying to get us to move to spokane, but i don't think that is in the near future...:)
sunday...gosh that seems aons ago i can't even remember, but i do know we were super busy...oh i went bowling with some friends, oh and i haven't bowled in about 10 years, so i thought i was going to be super bad...nope...i had about 5 strikes...what?! it was great fun...i want to go bowl again...
monday - the dreaded day of my jury duty - ugh!! so i thought it was just a one day commitment, wrong...sh0uld have read the instructions before i went. joe took the day off to watch the kids. i was in downtown seattle at the courthouse by 8am...sat for a 4 hours and then learned all the cases got settled out of court...yah! but then i found out i was required to come back on tuesday again for jury selection...what?? talk about extreme stress....joe could not take the day off...he had a presentation to the CIO...my neighbor is in AZ, andra is working, my friend Bri is workiing, lorrie is working...who do i call...kids are sick too...so i called my dad...and of course, he dropped everything and drove up here on monday night to watch the kids...how great! i am so lucky! so off i go to jury duty on tuesday again...2 cases on the docket, i still haven't been called to serve...here comes the 3rd, yup, erin geekas was called (that is how they called my name :)) great!!! ahhhhhhh....so i sit and wait to be questioned...2:30 arrives, and the case got settled out of court, yahoo...so off to home i went...thank goodness! no more stress...cause wonder if i got called to serve, the judge told us that these cases could last up to a month...WHAT??? oh boy! so now i hope i don't get called again for a long time! it would be interesting i think to serve, but not at this time of my life.
so now i am back at home with the kids...where i belong...they are doing much better...last day of antibiotics and one more dr appt to check out the lungs....hopefully everything is fine. i sure missed my kids being away during the day for two days...so nice to be back in routine! :)
last night sally (joe's mom) booked a week at a cabin in the mountains for all of us (in august)...so excited. the cabin is so nice and has trails to a fishing and swimming hole...the kids are going to love it! they love being outdoors and exploring! especially cole!
well i better get back to the babes...they are painting and i suspect a big mess behind me! oh here are pics of the chandler visit...cole loved miranda!
