| jade 3rd b-day |
jade's turned 3 on friday, january 9th. since we were having a party for her on saturday, we layed low on her actual b-day. although, we went out for ice-cream, made brownies, and she was allowed to stay up late and watch movies and eat popcorn. she loved it! on saturday we were supposed to have a princess party in tacoma, but with my gma breaking her foot and all the chaos around that, we decided to cancel that and just have it at our house. well then the pass started to get hairy with avalanche controls, so my parents weren't able to come up. so it ended up to be just andra and us, but jade had so much fun. we decorated the house in princess theme, i made chicken fettucini, she had a sleeping beauty cake and opened her presents....she loved it! her 3rd b-day also marked the day to give up her binkie 100%, she had been using it at nap and nightime...we had prepared her for this day and i am so proud what a big girl she has been about it...we have had no crying fits over it, or anything. yahoo! we also took away cole's, he is doing great too...i am so glad!
today jade woke up with a terrible sore throat and swollen tonsels. i took her into our dr, just in case it was strep. our doc thought they looked red enough to take a culture, the primary results came back and negative to strep....thank goodness! just a viral infection...now i am sure cole will get it....
this weekend my parents are supposed to come up, that will be nice as jade surely missed having them at her party! gotta go get ready for work!

She is such an adorable hoot! I love her faces in the pictures. Sounds like a nice birthday and you guys look so cute all cuddled up watching movies. Happy birthday Jade and good job on the binkie....an official big girl!

Too Cute! I still can not believe she is 3 already! Awesome about the binkie for both, we are hoping to have Lila off hers by 2. I am sending out Jade's gifts this weekend! Miss you guys and hope you have a good week.
It sounds like her birthday turned out great. Jade is such a beautiful little girl. That's terrific that she and Cole are off the binkie and without any fits too.
