it started out on saturday with a day at cottage lake park, a pretty little park near our home. it has a little lake, with toddler toys and little trails...the kids had so much fun. we played on the toys, rolled in the grass and tried to skip rocks in the lake...jade and cole just love the outdoors so much. sunday, joe the great father that he is, made the kids a castle. jade is very much into princess stuff...and always tells us she wants a castle...we had left over cardboard so joe went to work. he got out his tools...no joke, leveler, box cutter, saw...and constructed it. i think it took him almost all afternoon! you will see the beginning stages and then the final masterpiece. i worked all day and came home to very happy children, they had so much fun with their dad. he played all day with them in it...such a great daddy!!
my day at work was a bit frustrating, we just hired this guy and boy oh boy, i don't how many times i had to tell him to get working, stop going into the backroom, he took a way too long break, told me he did the dishes - and really he didn't, clocked off for the day without telling me...the list goes on...and on....i fear that he is going to be a problem child...ahhhh..

Looks like a great weekend. So fun! Love the Castle that Joe built, I am sure the kids LOVE playing in it. Sorry about the guys at work....Hopefully it won't fester into a bigger prob!.....
