this past weekend we had our first open house on sunday. saturday we had our first showing...i had to work that morning, so when i called joe at 10am and told him a realtor and buyer were coming over at noon he went into full gear and got the place ready. by the time i got home at 11am the house was spic and span and off we went...we decided to go for a drive and look at the new housing deveoplments that have sprouted up everywhere around here. much to our dismay, all these homes have NO yards, unless you call 3 feet by 3 feet a yard. we were disappointed because many were absolutely beautiful, but we will not move anywhere that does not have a yard. sunday went well...for the open house, our outing during that time - another story. we had two interested buyers come. one lives already in the complex, she rents, and wants to own, she went through our house twice. she loved the layout and said it was so clean. made me feel good! the other was a single guy and he was going to see if he could financing today...so i am hopeful...i guess. one lookie loo asked if our home was the model? haha! that was flattering too...i guess we did a good job cleaning and organzing everything.
during the open house we all went to bellsquare...that didn't go over well with crabby cole. i have no idea what has gotten into him lately, but he is screaming about 4 hours of the day out of 8 - ahhh...so we got him some crocs and left. we drove around again and looked at houses. cole slept the whole time. thank goodness.
tomorrow all the brokers come and tour our home, so another day that i have to figure out what to do for 3 hours...oops gotta go, somehow cole got my soda and is shaking it up and down...pop everywhereeeeeeeeeeeeee.
