Yesterday was the first day of real potty training...we had been working on it off and on, but yesterday marked the day for it to officially start. i figured since jade is almost 2 (tomorrow), then it's time to get serious. so anyways, i got a poster board, elmo stickers, and an elmo toilet seat cover for the big day. i talked it up quite a bit, called it the "big girl elmo potty"...anyways, i set the timer for every 2 hours, and today we went 4 times until jade went pee-pee for the first time since we began! yahoo! i am so excited! we cheered, called for daddy to come see, called papa on the phone to tell him...and put a sticker on the poster board! hoorah for jade! now, i hope it continues...oh and one more thing...her diaper was dry from the last time, so that must mean she held it?
anyways, if any mother's of any good advice on potty training or tricks that worked for them...let me know!!!
