week recap

another week has flown by! monday was started with jade's new playgroup. i signed her up for a 10 week course at the woodinville community center. it's called wee-ones for ages 12-24 months. we got there a bit early, so jade could get used to her surroundings before all the kids came. she was in heaven...a huge classroom full of every toy you could think of, a huge play kitchen (her fav), mcdonald's drive-thru, a juice stand, climbing wall, mazes, big balls..everything. anyways, as soon as the kids arrived jade didn't want much to do with them...she just wanted to play with "her" kitchen. hmm...so a couple of the kids came over to "her" kitchen to play...jade told them "no" and made it be known that it was her kitchen...ha! so at times i had to intervene and explain sharing to her...she is so cute, when i told her to share she quickly grabbed all her kitchen toys and showered the kids with them...and then gave them kisses...anyways, at the end of the hour the teacher does "circle" time...we sing songs, read books and dance to music...so cute! jade loves it...and so does cole...he was in total awe the whole time..thank goodness!
other then that we pretty much laid low...i worked last night and it went well. i am feeling more comfortable and liking it much better..i like working nights much better then days and mornings. last night was pretty busy...i was on bar by myself and probably had about 20 drinks in 10 min...very busy for me!
tonight i am surprising joe with a pre-anniversary night out...my sister is going to come over after work and babysit and joe and i are going to go out..either to dinner or movie. joe is going out of town for work on our real anniversary, so i thought this would be a nice surprise and we never get out anymore (by ourselves)....so that's that...
nothing new on the housing front - other then we decided we are going to try and sell by owner....it costs so much to sell a house - about 25k (for us) with all the closing costs and real estate costs - unbelieveable!
