today was a work day for me- boo hoo. i really didn't feel like working, especially with my mom in town and knowing she was leaving today. anyways, i arrived at starbucks, and my manager greeted with "hi erin, get your till and get on the register"...what?!!! i said to myself...i hadn't even been shown the register yet...so i quickly informed her that no one had trained me...so back to the training modules i go...boring! anyways, i got to make some blended drinks and try some more coffee. it was an okay shift, but i am back to reality and not "loving" work...i like it, but not in la la land anymore! ha.
i am sitting here drinking a great glass of wine, with both babies asleep i can finally unwind. joe made dinner tonight - macademia nut crusted halibut...it was yummy...so nice of him!
my mom left today for my gma's...i really wished she could have stayed the whole weekend, but she needed to see my gma too..she'll be back in two weeks for a longer period. i really love it when she is here...so does joe.
well joe and i are going to play a little two handed texas hold'em...i always beat his pants off so he is always up for re-match! ha! this is the re-match!

Love your mom!...So nice to have a good glass of wine after the kids go to bed....I am sure you kicked Joe's ass once again....I don't think he will ever learn....hehehe! Miss you!
