terrible two's...early?!

so today was a bit of doozer if you ask me! ahhhhhhhhh....i had great hopes that we would have a fun family day at Remlinger Farms in Carnation...but nooooooo...jade put that to rest real fast! anyways, we started off fine, but then joe had to have a work con call during our visit and jade didn't want to stay put with cole and i in the stroller. so for his hour long con call jade screamed...and i am not just talking about a medium sound cry, i am talking about screaming bloody murder...i had all the parents looking at me...which was annoying me too...it was hard for her...we were sitting right outside the little antique car ride and big slide...i had already taken her on the car ride, which she loved (and through a major fit when we had to get off)....but with joe on the phone i couldn't just leave cole hanging out...so anyways, an hour of screaming pretty much made me want to go home...but we paid so much to get in there we couldn't leave...so off we went to the petting zoo, more car rides, big slide, and lunch...which i was really excited about lunch - it was at a country cafe where everything is homemade, well the service sucked majorly and the food was medicore + expensive...ugh...so joe and i packed up the kids and decided it was time to go home...but wait...we didn't hit the corn maze and joe REALLY wanted to do that...it started out fine, jade running everywhere having so much fun...but then it starts to rain...hard...ugh...jade didn't care if it was raining...so we had another major fit all the way back to the car...imagine me carrying 30+lb jade kicking and screaming...i am muddy from head to toe...not happy at all...anyways, got in the car and homeward bound. i am sad to say, that my once wonderful idea of a family day at remlinger farms, turned out to be a horrible idea and a huge waste of money....oh well...so now i sit here in peace in quiet...gave both kids baths, fed them and put them to bed majorly early. i just need a break...joe just left for his friend's house to watch the coug game since we don't have cable...so i think i will first pray that jade nor cole wake up (until the morning of course) and then read my book....i will post pics later of the farm...i did manage to take a few good ones...with some smiles. :)
