We had a great 4 day weekend! joe was off on friday and monday! yah! friday morning we headed to the woodland park zoo. the kids had so much fun and were very good! first time we went somewhere without a stroller! cole did great! after the zoo, we decided to take a drive around greenlake, greenwood, and ballard checking out homes. we absolutely love the greenlake area, but there were hardly any homes for sale. lots of condos, but no homes. people must love where they live. saturday we headed to our new favorite park. at this park they have a barn of different farm animals, huge grassy field and lots of hiking trails. we were surprised to find when we got there that the goats had babies, the rabbits had babbies and the pigs....sooooo cute! cole was so engrossed in all the animals. we had to pry him away. he loves animals sooo much. he kept on wanting to get in with them and play. he tried to get in with the cows and i had to run and grab him real quick. ahhhhh....while cole is checking out the animals jade and joe were playing with jade's new walkie talkies...so cute! joe taught her all the lingo that goes with it...very funny to watch! sunday i worked at starbucks, joe took the kids to the park near our home. i met them after work and we headed for some DQ and a movie! a great end of the day! jade and joe stayed up till 11pm, i thought for sure she would sleep in on monday, nope, up at 545am! ahhhh....monday joe and i worked on the garage, ugh! after the kids naps we headed to that park with the animals again. we stopped by looked at the animals and then headed on the hiking trails. the kids loved it! first hike for them....they did so well. cole absolutely loved it...he was running ahead the whole time! joe was teaching them all about the wildlife, it was a great afternoon. after that we headed to tedddy's this fantastic new hamburger joint in woodinville....soooo good!
now back to the grind! my last day at woodinville starbucks was on sunday and now i am transferring to the kenmore drive-thru. this starbucks is 2 times the size of my old one and does twice the amount of business. my first day is today.
oh, and some of you probably don't know...but cole got glasses. his eye vision is perfect, but his left eye was being strained too much and causing it to go into the left. he will have to wear glasses to help relieve the strain for awhile. i am hoping for not very long, they are quite a pain to keep them on him. but his left eye is doing so much better! i kinda think he looks like the jerry mcguire kid from the movie (when he is wearing his glasses)...such a little cutie!

You have such a beautiful family. I know I have told you that before, but I think it everytime I see your pictures. Cole is getting almost as big as Jade! I love his glasses too.
