tuesday playgroup

starting today both jade and cole go to a playgroup at the woodinville community center. it is an hour long and about 10 or so other kids ranging from 12mon to 3years partake in it. on with my story...this little boy, about 2years comes up to jade and grabs her cheek and pinches her!!! i couldn't believe it...the mom quickly intervened and told the kid, no, and then looked at me and said...he's just young...what??? all the kids here are young...put the boy in timeout...ahhhhh...so for the remainder of the time we tried to stay clear of the boy...but i did notice he was doing the same thing to other kids...ugh!
yesterday we met joe for his lunch break and went on a walk near his work...they have trails all around his campus. we were doing great for the first half, but i think we pushed them a little too hard...half way back cole threw the HUGEST fit and jade was too tired to walk and didn't want to be in the stroller...it was nice to get out and in the fresh air, but boy oh boy, i was ready for a break..i was thinking great, they are all tired out and will nap when we get home- WRONG...no nap and crabby kids the rest of the day...as soon as joe got home i was itching to get out and do something...but what? ahh...that's the problem...here are my options- go to top foods, target or for a walk...none of that sounded good...but i settled for a ride to the store to get diapers...ha!
well i just made the mistake of giving jade half of a cookie and now she is majorly whining for the other half...so i better go and control this situation! ha!
