holiday pictures

this weekend was pretty uneventful...friday the kids and i met joe after work at alderwood mall to find an outfit for cole...for pics and xmas...after about an hour of looking and two hungry kids with very wet diapers we decided to end our hunt and head home...with no outfit...saturday was pretty low key...i headed out early in the morning in search of a holiday outfit for cole and found one at the oshkosh store...they make little oxford shirts as onsies...what a great idea! i worked later that day...and of all days, the dishwasher broke at starbucks..so a lot of handwashing of dishes i did...ugh..i had dishpan hands so bad when i came home. today, our day revolved around holiday picture appt at 3pm. got both kids dressed in their cute little matching outfits...they looked soooo cute! checked in and then the wait began...we waited an hour to get in! ahhhh!!! by the time it was our turn, cole was about ready to fall asleep and jade...well she was perfect as always....anyways, cole wouldn't smile at all..just looked at the camera lady like she was weird...jade smiled some...but the camera lady didn't get one of her smiling. i guess that is what i get for going to jcpenny's...i keep saying that i am not going back, but i keep going back. i think this time might be the last. after waiting another 45 min we got to see the finished product...and well, they weren't that good...oh well...we ordered 3 different poses and were out of there...it was so cheap so i shouldn't complain too much. we stopped at our favorite sandwich place in bellevue and headed home. it's almost 8 and the kids are in bed...now it's time to relax, which i shouldn't really cause i have about 5 loads of laundry that needs folded...that's all lumped on the ground...ugh....

I can't wait to see the holiday pictures . . .it's so tough with 2 kids to get them to smile at the same time. I always have loads of laundry to fold. I clean it and then leave it and by the time I actually fold it and put it away it's time for another 5 loads . . .ah housework :)

Hi Erin!

I read that you've been a big Huggies fan in the past, so I thought you might be interested in getting some free diapers and wipes for Jade & Cole as part of a project we're doing for new Pampers Stages. We’re looking for the honest feedback of parents, and I wanted to know if you’d like to review the product on your site. We’ll send you a Jumbo pack of the correct size of diaper for each child along with a tub of corresponding wipes. Please email me if you’re interested, we’d love to have your voice included.

Thanks so much!

I'm excited to see the holiday pictures of the kids! Don't you love how it's a big production just to get pictures taken.
