happy thanksgiving

i am sitting here waiting for our prime rib to get done on the rottessiere...30 more min. i decided to not go with the traditional fixings and cook something different. so we are having yummy prime rib, kugulus (lithuanian potato dish), green salad and rolls...nothing too fancy since it's just us. i had to work last night and i have to work tomorrow at 530am...which will be a crazy day! last night was sooo busy...lines out the door the whole night! i expect tomorrow to be the same...that's okay though...
so i got the "mom" hair cut two days ago - cut off about 12inches!! the shortest i have ever had my hair. i had a gift card to gene juarez, which to my dismay i left it at home - ugh...anyways, i had all intentions to donate my hair to locks of love...but the hair stylist said my hair was in too bad of shape - too dry - at least she was honest...so anyways, all the "bad" hair is off and now i have a new do...something to get used to, but i like it. jade and cole don't know the difference cause they never saw me with my hair down. these past couple of months i have been trying to get myself back in order, which started with a dentist appt for a cleaning...i had neglated that for two years, i know...bad me! anyways, the hygenist told me that i needed to come back for another cleaning - ugh...and then the story about my hair...i swear! oh well..i will start taking better care...i always used too, but when you have kids, things change...
cole has cut another tooth and has another one ready to cut on the bottom and he is GRUMPY!! he is pulling himself up onto everything, which is causing some falls...i swear he is fallen so much more then jade ever has....i think cole has taken after joe in that way, cause he is so daring, while jade is so cautious - like me!
well better go and check on my meal...hope everyone is having a great thanksgiving! happy shopping to those tomorrow - i am going to go brave target after work....
