Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's birthday- he turns 40...no just joking! ha! So happy birthday to my wonderful dad. For some of you that do not know him, let me tell you a little bit about him and how he is the greatest dad and grandpa!
First off, he is the most dependable, self-less, drop everything for you kinda of man. whenever i have a need, it could just be a simple question about cars, money..anything...or if i need help watching the kids, or if i am not feeling well and he needs to come up here...he will drop what he is doing and be here for me and my family. last october i was put on bedrest due to a blood clot and my dad was up here numerous times taking me to dr's appts, watching jade, cleaning my house, and making us dinner...to sum it up he is always there for joe and i...from driving over from moses lake to help us move, put in shelves, put up curtains, babysit the babies, anything we need...we so much appreciate it and want to make sure it will never be taken for granted.
Secondly, what a great grandpa he is. he wakes up with both babies and feeds them, changes them and gets them all ready for the day so i can sleep in. i don't have to worry about a thing when i am visiting my parents...they both take over. he calls jade everyday to say hello. before our visits, he makes sure their fridge is stocked with all of jade's favorite foods and cole's formula. eventhough they are over 3 hours away he and my mom are our most dependable babysitters. he plays with both babies and takes them on walks and to parks. and last of all..he loves them so much.
so to end this post, happy birthday dad! we truely appreciate everything that you do and we love you so much! erin, joe, cole and jade :)

Happy Birthday Lou! What a nice tribute to your Dad, Erin. You are so lucky to have such a good Dad. It sounds like he is constantly there for you and that you can count on him for anything. I think that is so neat for not only you and Joe but also for your kids to have that loving example.
