Mt. Rainier Vacation!
This past week joe's parents and all 4 of us, rented a cabin at the base of mt. rainier. we had such a great time...we did lots of hiking and exploring, fishing, playing in creeks, boating and eating! joe bought jade and cole their very own fishing poles. they were so excited to try them out! we had been practicing with them before the big trip. jade caught a fish!! she was so excited, she was reeling and reeling...finally we could see the fish, she got so scared she threw her pole in the water. bye bye fish and bye bye fishing pole! it was a classic moment! our most favorite part was hiking up and around paradise. it can't get much prettier then that! how lucky we are to have this in our backyard!! we can't wait to go again!

So fun! What town were you in? The pics were beautiful and I love Cole in his glasses! Did you get video of the fishing experience?
hey jill...we were in ashford, 2 miles from the entrance. we rented a little cabin...so much fun. i think this will be an annual trip! and no video of the fishing - it was so funny!! lots of pics- sally (joe's mom) has many more.
