today is joe's 31st b-day - old man! ha!! we will be celebrating it on saturday when his mom comes in town...going out to a nice dinner and maybe a movie....today has been hard for me...cole didn't sleep more then an hour straight last night...ahh...and on top of that i got a terrible stomach ache at 3am...it was so bad it kept me up the hour that cole did sleep. so joe stayed home during the morning so i could get some rest...i feel a bit better now, but still have that dang burning stomach ache...ugh. so yesterday jade and cole had their 4 mon and 18 mon appts....cole is weighing in at 18 1/2 lbs and is 27 1/4 inches...jade is 27lb 13 oz and 34 inches long...i couldn't believe how big cole is...i mean i knew he was a big baby...but 18lbs already!!!!! they are growing so well and the dr was very pleased with both of them. cole got 4 shots (that's why i think he was up half of the night) and jade got 1...they both handled those well. i was a bit nervous how they would be, cause i took them by myself and was worried that i couldn't comfort them at the same time, but both only cried for about 30 seconds.
on tuesday we (the kids and i) headed to tacoma to hang out with my gma, aunt and little cousins. jade had a blast. the little girls - 7 and 4 love jade so much...we went to this fun gym called odessey, where they have these huge indoor jungle gyms and those pools with balls in them...well jade had so much fun with the balls...she was laughing so hard...loved it. we also went to round table pizza and had their pizza buffet- wow...it was soo good..i have never been. jade ate 3 pieces of pizza - she was hungry!!
well both kids are down for a nap so i think i will go read my book....

So glad the appointments went well and wow 18lbs, I wouldn't have guessed that. I hope you are feeling better and the tonight is better for you and Cole.
