relaxing day

today was a nice day - my mom stayed home from work and helped me out a ton! she took cole at 7am after i fed him and took care of him so i could get some extra z's...and of course she watched jade...so nice. i also got to lay down in the middle of the day too...while jade took her nap, my mom watched cole. i wish i had her with me all day everyday! it was a pretty lazy day for me.

jade has been enjoying the outdoors so much...as soon as my dad comes home he is ready to play - they stay outside until dinner is ready. basically, jade just walks around exploring and my dad follows her. she loves rocks...and loves to put them in her pockets...so i find all these rocks in her pockets when i do laundry...too cute. i think her daddy taught her to put them in her pocket. jade came in with some flowers and gpa put them in her hair...so cute.

another new thing she is doing is coloring and drawing (well scribbling)...except that she sometimes misses the paper and draws on whatever surface we are on...like today my mom and i were playing cards, jade was sitting on my mom's lap...and well to keep her entertained we gave her a pencil and paper - she did so well...scribbling all over...then she decided to scribble on the table...oh well...they are getting a new table anyways...ha.

it's so nice to be at my parents...my mom is a great cook so we have such good dinner's...tonight we are having a rack of lamb, scalloped potatoes, aspargus and she made a blueberry cobbler...jade is in heaven with all the good food too...i have discovered she loves blueberry's...guess i will have to start buying those.

well better go feed cole...
